When you say "high protein" does that = to a certain minimum of protein (ex: 30g of protein)?

Yes! This is what you can expect in terms of grams of protein/meal: 

  • Breakfasts are between 25 and 30g of protein
  • Lunches and Dinners are 40+ grams

"High protein" is a somewhat trendy and unregulated term. The protein quantities used throughout this ebook are higher than what the average person consumes (thus, I will be using "high protein") because most people under-consume protein! The recipes are designed to be an appropriate balance of protein, fat, and carbs (all of which are essential for our bodies to function and thrive) with an emphasis on the power of eating a protein-prioritizing diet! 

I'm not excluding any macronutrients here - each one is essential for our bodies to thrive - we're just placing an appropriate emphasis on ensuring that a larger percentage of calories come from protein than what the average person is used to. A high protein diet will hover around 30% of calories from protein whereas the average American consumes closer to 11% of calories from this essential macronutrient

Are the recipes suitable for specific dietary restrictions?

Yes, all recipes are gluten-free, dairy-free, and refined sugar-free, making them suitable for various dietary preferences.

What protein sources do you use for the breakfast recipes?
